Douglas Sparks
Douglas Everett Sparks was Dean of Saint Paul's Cathedral, Wellington from 2003 until 2004. [1]
Sparks was educated at St. Mary's Seminary and University; and ordained a deacon in the Roman Catholic Church in 1944. He served in Missouri, Colorado and Illinois before being received into the Episcopal Church[2]becoming Rector of St Luke, Whitewater, Wisconsin in 1990, a post he held until 1995. After a further incumbency at St Matthias, Waukesha in the same state he spent eighteenth months in New Zealand. On his return he became Rector of St Luke, Rochester, Minnesota.[3]
