Douglas O. Linder is the creator of the Famous Trials website,[1] which covers over fifty famous trials throughout history and, with Nancy Levit, has coauthored The Happy Lawyer[2] and The Good Lawyer.[3] He is a professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law.[4] He attended undergraduate at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota, before graduating from Stanford Law School. In 1996 and developed two casebook websites, Exploring Constitutional Law and Exploring First Amendment Law.

Linder was interviewed by CNN about the legacy of the Scopes Trial.[5]
