Dorycnium is a genus of twelve accepted[1] species in the pea family, from the Mediterranean and the Canary Islands. It is related to (the Old World parts of) Lotus and Tetragonolobus.[1] Both Tetragonolobus and Dorycnium have sometimes been classified as part of Lotus.[1]
