Doruntina Disha (Serbo-Croat: Doruntina Diša) is an Kosovan-Albanian singer.

Early life

At four years of age, Disha and her family moved to Oslo because of the political problems in Kosovo. Disha started to sing when she was seven in Oslo. Her first song was in 2005, but she also participated in festivals in both the Norwegian Community and Albanian-Kosovan also.

Music career

Disha performed for children in Oslo, after that she was invited to return to the Balkans to perform. Her first song was released in 2005. Her career which made her a pop star in Norway, Albania and Kosovo (when she participated in Festivali i Këngës 46) also featuring Flaka Krelani, Albanian famous Rock Singer.

Eurovision Song Contest 2008

Doruntina Disha featuring Flaka Krelani participated in Festivali i Këngës 46, the national Albanian Festival. Disha was qualify to the final getting 1st place from the Semi-Final, in the Final she got all the points she needed but the 7th and last jury gave 0 to her and 12 to Olta Boka, so she got 2nd place with 57 points.[1]
