Dorian (name)

Dorian /ˈdɔəriən/ is a tempestuous weather".[1] It was probably created by Oscar Wilde for the main character in his The Picture of Dorian Gray, after whom the syndrome Dorian Gray syndrome.[2] It is used mainly for men, but is also used occasionally for women. It is the name of a long-running female soap opera character, Dorian Cramer, on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live. It may also refer to the ancient Greek or the modern Dorian mode of the major scale in Western music.
