Dorf Mecklenburg is a municipality in the Nordwestmecklenburg district, in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. It is located 6 km south of Wismar and is also close to the cities of Lübeck and Schwerin and is part of the Hamburg Metropolitan Region.
It is home to the castle "Mikilenburg" (Old German: "big castle"), that gave its name to the country known as Mecklenburg.
