Donacaula dodatellus is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Walker in 1864. It is found in China (Yunnan), Japan, India, Myanmar,[1] Sri Lanka, the Philippines and on Sumatra.[2]

The forewings of the males are ochreous, streaked with coppery red and a fuscous streak along the lower margin of the cell. The forewings of the females are less prominently streaked with red.
