Dominic Breazeale (born August 24, 1985 in Alhambra, California) is an American amateur boxer in the Super heavyweight division.[1] He is currently the number one rated amateur boxer at Super Heavyweight in the U.S.[2] Dominic, a former quarterback on the football team at University of Northern Colorado, qualified for the 2012 Olympics as a super heavyweight even though he lost the final to Ítalo Perea.[3]

Amateur career

Breazeale won the 2012 U.S. National Super Heavyweight championship at the Fort Carson Special Events Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.[4] He lost in the first round of the London Olympics, 19-8.

Professional career

He is currently 14–0 as a professional, with 13 wins coming by KO. He is fighting under the Golden Boy Promotions banner. He is from Alhambra, CA, but currently, makes his home in Anaheim CA.
