Doloessa viridis is a species of snout moths in the genus Doloessa. It was described by Zeller in 1848, and is known from Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, China, Australia (Queensland), Taiwan, the Philippines and the Solomons.
The wingspan is about 20 mm. Adults have green wings with rows of blue-outlined spots on each forewing. The hindwings are white.
The larvae feed on Khaya ivorensis, Aglaia wallichii and Cocos nucifera as well as the seeds of Shorea, Rice, Sorghum and Maize.[2]
