Dolgor Ser-Od

Dolgor Ser-Od (Mongolian Сэр-одын Долгор, Ser-Odyn Dolgor) * 1973 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, is a painter living in Germany.

Life

Dolgor Ser-Od studied traditional painting at Soyol College in Ulaanbaatar and until 2005 at the Fine Art University in Ulaanbaatar. She married 2008 and emigrated to Berlin, Germany.

Work

Beside the traditional school of miniature paintings Dolgor Ser-Od is using a variety of styles in painting and as well installation and Land Art. Dolgor Ser-Od was awarded 1998 with the Bronze Medaille "Youth of year" des National Festival and 2001 Best Painting of the year, Valiand Art, Mongolia. Ser-Od is member of the Union of Mongolian Artists (UMA), and directors board member of the Biennial Land Art Mongolia [1]
