Dmitry Petrovich Buchkin (Russian: Дмитрий Петрович Бучкин; July 23, 1927, Leningrad, USSR) is a Soviet Russian painter, a member of the Saint Petersburg Union of Artists (before 1992 — the Leningrad Union of Artists),[1] who live and worke in Saint Petersburg, regarded as one of representatives of the Leningrad school of painting,[2] most famous for his genre and landscape paintings. In 1960–1980 years he repeatedly worked in the House of creativity «Staraya Ladoga», later in his own cottage with art studio in Staraya Ladoga.
