Djakaridja Koné (born July 22, 1986) is an Ivorian born, Burkinabé footballer currently under contract with Evian, in Ligue 1.

Career

Koné started his career in Israel, at Hapoel Petah Tikva. He moved to Romania in 2009, signing a three year contract with Dinamo Bucureşti. At the beginning, he remained on the bench, as a reserve for Ousmane N'Doye, but after the Senegalese left for Astra Ploiești in January 2011, Koné gained a place in the first squad. He later became the best player for Dinamo, and was named Man of the match in the 2012 Cupa României Final, game won by Dinamo against Rapid București.[1]

Koné was linked in 2012 to a move to Olympique de Marseille to play in the Ligue 1 championship.[2]

He left Dinamo Bucureşti in the summer of 2012, at the end of his contract, refusing to sign a new deal. He moved to France, signing a contract with Evian.

International career

He made his debut in a match against Cape Verde, in February 2011.[3]
