Career

Dizaster's popularity amongst the battle rap community grew rapidly. He began getting bigger names with a headline event on Vendetta. Vendetta featured many battlers from across North America, with Canibus vs Dizaster being the biggest battle that the battle rap culture had seen up to that point. Dizaster came out with a strong victory, after Canibus forgot his material, and resorted to pulling out a notepad of pre-written rhymes.[1]

Dizaster also battled an emcee by the stage name of Arcane. This was a KOTD Title Match in which Dizaster held the chain after beating battle rapper, Po-Rich. During his introduction, Dizaster began reading PayPal statements that showed that Arcane transferred funds to another battler, in exchange for rhymes. Dizaster used this angle all three rounds. Dizaster was declared the loser of the battle, thus losing the KOTD Title Chain.[2]
Dizaster, made his URL debut by battling a rapper from Harlem New York by the stage name T-Rex.
After a couple years Dizaster was back in the ring battling for the KOTD Title Chain. This was against the Canadian fan favorite, Pat Stay. Though many feel that Dizaster had one of his best performances of his career, only to lose to the home town hero Pat Stay by a 4-1 decision.[3]

In June of 2014, at the KOTD hosted event titled Battle of Los Angeles, Dizaster battled a Brooklyn rapper by the name of Math Hoffa, who had assaulted his opponents on stage on two different occasions. Prior to the battle, there was a lot of tension between the two rappers, and many fans believed that a physical altercation was going to take place. The two managed to avoid any conflict throughout the battle, only for Dizaster to assault Math, after he was dared to. The situation involved into an all out fight involving multiple people, and thus, shutting down the whole event. The assault has earned Dizaster a fine from KOTD in the excess of $2500 for the damages, and a competing ban from the league for one year, which is set to expire in June of 2015.

Dizaster Today

Dizaster is currently taking a short hiatus from battling and is expected to return in late 2015. His last battle against the hip hop artist Cassidy was commercially one of the most successful battles ever. [4]
