Diwan-Ballubhai School is a School in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. Established in 1908 with 102 students on the roll it is one of the oldest schools in the city. Diwan Ballubhai school has right now two campuses in Maninagar and Paldi areas of Ahmedabad. Diwan Ballubhai school offers education from Nursery to 12th Standard. Diwan Ballubhai school is renowned school among Gujarati medium schools and it completed its 100th anniversary on 6 January 2008.Moreover, since 2012 english medium is also running on paldi campus.

History

The school started its operations in 1908, at Maskati Market in Kalupur area of Ahmedabad. At that time the school only had 102 students. Then in 1912 the school shifted its operations at Balentine Haveli, Teen Darwaza. The school got re affiliated with Mumbai University in 1926. The school's Principal went to jail two times for Non-cooperation movement and so the government cancelled the registration of the school.
