Diva Universal Asia (sometimes referred as Diva) is an Asian cable and satellite television channel owned and operated by Universal Networks International. It has been available on most subscription television cable and Satellite platforms in East Asia since 1 October 2003.[1]

History

The Hallmark Channel Era

Hallmark Channel Asia was launched in 1997. Most of the program are all canned from US including Oprah and The Biggest Loser. Hallmark Channel Asia has four different feeds including the Philippines feed, which was launched on August 19, 2009.

From Hallmark Channel to Diva Universal

Hallmark Channel Asia was last broadcast on September 19, 2010. Diva Universal was launched on September 19, 2010 at 6:00 PM (SIN/MAL/HK) / 5:00 PM (BKK/JKT).

Renamed as Diva

Diva Universal dropped by the name Universal and renamed simply as Diva, was launched on June 16, 2014 at 9:20 AM (SIN/MAL/HK/PST) / 8:20 AM (BKK/JKT).
