Dirk Jan ten Geuzendam
Dirk Jan ten Geuzendam (born 1957) is a Dutch sports journalist. Although not a chess professional, he has an extensive knowledge of chess, and writes chess columns for Vrij Nederland and NRC Handelsblad.
He regularly interviews people on the grandmaster scene and has acted as an official live broadcast commentator for many elite international chess events, including the World Chess Championship 2012, Norway Chess 2013 and the Chess World Cup 2013.[1]
In addition to matches and tournaments, Ten Geuzendam has covered a range of other chess topics in his books and magazine reports. Along with the Dutch Grandmaster Jan Timman he is Editor-in-chief of the international chess magazine New In Chess.
