Diogo Miguel Alves Luís (born 10 August 1980 in Lisbon), aka Diogo Luís, is a Portuguese retired footballer who played as a Left Back.
Football career
Diogo Luis was a product of Sport Lisboa e Benfica youth system. After good performances in the B team and due to the lack of quality left-backs in the first team, Luis had a chance in the first team at the hands of José Mourinho, but never managed to assert itself.[1][2] In January 2002, he was loaned to Alverca but didn't settle,[3] having then various stints in smaller clubs, including playing in Cyprus, ending his career in 2009, age 29.
