Diogo Carreira (born December 2, 1978, in Barreiro) is a Portuguese basketball player who plays for S.L. Benfica since 2008.[1]
In 2009, Carreira discovered a benign tumor adjacent to his right ear. After it was removed, he made a full recovery. He was also one of the first Portuguese to contract H1N1.[2]
