Dingle is an unincorporated community in Bear Lake County, Idaho, United States, in the southeastern part of the state. Located at an altitude of 5,955 feet (1,815 m), it is located at (42.2193736, -111.2679797).[1] Although Dingle is unincorporated, it has a post office, with the ZIP code of 83233.[2]
Local legend says the town received its name from Brigham Young after the sound of trains passing by or possibly cowbells.[3]
