Dineshchandra Babulal Vaghela (born March 9, 1951) is an Indian politician and National Executive Member of the Aam Aadmi Party[1][2] and their National Disciplinary Action Committee chairman.[3] He was involved in the Indian Anti-corruption Movement previously known as India Against Corruption and is now a major member of its political descendant the Aam Aadmi Party. He worked to establish the AAP in Gujarat and Goa and was a candidate in Lok Sabha Election 2014 from Ahmedabad East against Paresh Rawal.[4]

Early life

Dinesh Vaghela was born in the village of Palasva in the Surendranagar district of India. He left his home at the age of eleven and worked at a road side tea stall. He used the money he made to earn a degree in Pilosophy from the Vallabh Vidyanagr University in the district of Kheda. In 2012, when they were forming India Against Corruption, Anna and Arvind Kejriwal asked him to join the movement which he did. Becoming one of the activists of "Team Anna".[5][6]
