Dimitrije Nešić (Belgrade, Principality of Serbia, 20 October 1836 – Belgrade, Kingdom of Serbia, 9 May 1904) was mathematician and president of the Serbian Royal Academy.

Nešić was son of Savka and Stojan Nešić. His father Stojan was craftsman while his mother was housekeeper. His grandfather was merchant in Novi Pazar who came to Belgrade in 1808 because of Ottoman anti-Serb actions during the First Serbian Uprising.[1]
