Digicel IMAX is Trinidad and Tobago's (and the Caribbean’s) first and only IMAX 3D movie theatre.

Digicel is the title sponsor and as such, has the honour of having the theatre renamed the Digicel IMAX Theatre.[1] Other sponsors include Carib Brewery, Ansa Automotive, Atlantic LNG and First Citizens Bank.

The Digicel IMAX will have the largest screen in the Caribbean at a size of 70 x 40 feet with a seating capacity of 360. The cinema will be located at One Woodbrook Place, Port of Spain.

Digicel IMAX was launched by Ingrid Jahra, the founder of the Giant Screen Entertainment.[2]

There has been some legal disagreements[3] with the developer and the Trinidad government that could delay or halt the theater's opening but at current schedule it should open sometime in July/August 2011.
