Dighinala (Bengali: দীঘিনালা) is an Upazila of Khagrachari District in the Division of Chittagong, Bangladesh.
Geography
Dighinala is located at 23°15′30″N 92°03′30″E / 23.2583°N 92.0583°E . It has 11,227 house holds and a total area of 694.12 km².
Demographics
As of the 1991 Bangladesh census, Dighinala has a population of 50,933. Males constitute 51.5% of the population, and females 48.5%. This Upazila's eighteen and up population is 26,408. Dighinala has a literacy rate of 26.4% (7+ years), compared to the national average of 32.4% literacy.[1]
