Diego César Santilli (Autonomous City of Buenos Aires born 6 April 1967) is an Argentine politician with a justicialist background today member of the Republican Proposal (PRO). He is currently employed as Minister of Environment and Public Space.
Personal life
Santilli was born in the neighbourhood of Palermo, located in the city of Buenos Aires. He got his Certified Public Accountant degree at age 23 on the Economic Science Faculty of the Buenos Aires University; further enhancing his academical formation by doing marketing studies on the Berkeley University USA and public administration studies on the Paris Government School. He is married to journalist Nancy Pazos and has three children.[1]
Work History
Diego Santilli worked in several Buenos Aires office positions, the most important being manager of the Buenos Aires City Bank and vice president of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires Legislature. At present he acts as Minister of Environment and Public Space of the Buenos Aires City.
Present
As well as being Minister, he is coordinator of the "Buenos Aires en RED" Association and, together with his wife, founder of CANI (Food Culture for an Intelligent, Responsible and Safe Nutrition). In 2008 he wrote a child's book in order to raise awareness about traffic norms.
