Didymoplexis is a genus of 17 species of leafless, achlorophyllous orchids, native to Africa, Madagascar, Southeast Asia, Australia and various islands of the Pacific.[1][2] Their rhizomes have aerial roots. Flowers are solitary, resupinate, and arranged into terminal or subterminal raceme. In particular, one dorsal sepal is fused with the petals forming a hoodlike structure.[3]
