Didiayer Snyder (born 9 March 1975 in Elizabeth, South Australia) is an Australian model, television personality, philanthropist, interior designer, carpenter, home inspector, motivational speaker, and author. She is well known for her roles on the ABC Network program Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and Amazing Vacation Homes on the Travel Channel.

Career

Snyder began working with the Travel Channel in 2005, as the host of Amazing Vacation Homes. In 2006, Didiayer went on to host America's Best Beaches and Best Beaches Off the Beaten Path for the network.[1]

Didiayer joined the Clean House in January 2011, transforming self-proclaimed hoards homes into clean, safe and livable. Known for her "budget conscious designs". This lead to her joining Messiest Home in the Country. Didiayer joined the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition team in season five.[2] Didiayer is a regular on the Nate Berkus Show.

Didiayer became the face of MGM Resorts travel and leisure program MLifeTV in 2011.

Didiayer is currently the designer on "Home Made Simple".

Snyder released her first book, ON YOUR MARK - An Insight Guide To Modeling in 2008.[3]

Education

Snyder graduated with honors from Christian Outreach College Australia in 1992. She graduated from Ashworth College in carpentry (July 2005) and interior decorating (November 2006).[4] In 2007, Snyder achieved her advanced residential home inspection license at the (PHII) Professional Home Inspection Institute.[5] This led to presenting the commencement speech at Ashworth College's graduation ceremony in 2009, where she received the honorable alumnus of the year award in recognition of her educational and professional achievements.[4] Snyder was recently named outstanding graduate for 2010 by (DETC) Distance Education and Training Council.[6]

Philanthropy

Snyder donates her time and skills to Habitat for Humanity in the greater Los Angeles area. In 2008, Snyder acted as the Habitat for Humanity national ambassador for the international builders blitz.[7] Snyder is also ambassador for Greenaid. Snyder is also a motivational speaker and mentor to teenagers who are looking to get into the modeling and television industry.

Personal life

Snyder is married to actor/singer song-writer Christopher Snyder, who is lead singer of the modern rock band KRIMZEN.[8]
