Dianne Quander is an American songwriter, best known for writing the song “Caught Up In The Rapture,” which was recorded by Anita Baker. She also contributed to the songwriting of various R&B hits including “Flame of Love” (Jean Carne) and “Sweet Control” (Jon Lucien).
Biography
In the 1980s she was a frequent songwriting collaborator with Garry Glenn. Together they have written songs that were recorded by Anita Baker, Jean Carne, Freddie Jackson, Pieces of a Dream, R. J.'s Latest Arrival plus four songs from Glenn’s 1987 Motown album, Feels Good To Feel Good.[1][2] In collaboration with other songwriters, Quander has written songs recorded by George Howard, Evelyn Champagne King and Jon Lucien.[2]
