History

Shaun Fleming, former Disney voice actor for shows like Kim Possible and renowned didgeridoo crafter met Jonathan Rado and Sam France of Foxygen while attending Agoura High School in Southern California. Following Foxygens debut album "Take The Kids Off Brodway", Fleming helped aid the success of Foxygen's breakthrough album, We Are the 21st Century Ambassadors of Peace & Magic.

In late 2012, Shaun Fleming left his hometown of Agoura Hills, CA to become the third roommate in a 700 square-foot Manhattan apartment. On New Year's Eve 2012, Fleming would write and record what would become the debut Diane Coffee LP My Friend Fish alone in his bedroom while recovering from the flu. Though his means were limited, (Recording a makeshift drum set with his iPhone voice memo app, detuned Guitars in lieu of a Bass), he was able to complete the album just shy of two weeks. "My Friend Fish' was released on Western Vinyl on October 29th 2013

The live band behind the 2013-2014 "My Friend Fish" tours consisted of Joey Lefitz on Drums, Jared Walker on Guitar, Emily Panic on Bass and Steve Okonski on Keys. One 2014 tour, however, featured Spencer Klein on Drums.
