Dhurgham Ismail Dawoud Al-Quraishi (Arabic: ضرغام اسماعيل داوود القريشي) , born May 23, 1994 in Amarah, Maysan, Iraq is an Iraqi footballer who plays as a left full back and sometimes as left winger for Al-Shorta in Iraq Premier League.
Club Career
Dhurgham has attracted the interest of clubs. Liverpool F.C., Torino F.C. and Persepolis are thought to be interested in signing him.
On 19 February 2015, Dhurgham captained Al Shorta for the first time in a 3-0 win away at Naft Maysan.
International career
On 12 January 2013, Dhurgham made his International debut against Yemen in the 2013 Gulf Cup of Nations. Dhurgham scored in his first international match against Yemen from a free kick.[1]
On 29 December 2014, Dhurgham was included in Iraq's squad for the 2015 AFC Asian Cup.[2] In the quarter-final match against Iran, Dhurgham scored Iraq's third goal as they drew 3–3 at Canberra Stadium and eventually prevailed 7–6 on a penalty shootout.[3]
