Desire is an electronic music band from Montreal and Portland, Oregon. Their debut album, II, was released in June 2009 on the Italians Do It Better label.[1][2] The band is made up of vocalist Megan Louise, producer Johnny Jewel (also a member of the IDIB bands Chromatics and Glass Candy) and Nat Walker (also a member of Chromatics) on synthesizer and drums. Jewel and Walker also have an instrumental project called Symmetry.[2][3] Their lyrics are in French and English.[4]

British music magazine Fact listed II as the fourteenth best album of 2009.[5] Their song "Under Your Spell" appeared in the soundtrack for the 2011 film Drive.

In 2009 their song "Under Your Spell" was featured in the 2010 S/S Max Mara fashion show. The song was also featured in the Christian Dior Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2012.

Kid Cudi sampled "Under Your Spell" for the 2012 song "Teleport 2 Me, Jamie", released as the first single from the self-titled debut album of his WZRD rock project.[6]
