"Delilah" is a song by British rock band Queen. Written and sung by Freddie Mercury, it was originally released on their fourteenth studio album Innuendo in 1991. The song was released as a single on 14 December only in Thailand.

Composition

Delilah is a song Mercury penned for his favourite female tortoiseshell cat, which was called Delilah. It was one of the first completed tracks on the album.[1] Brian May recorded his solo using a talk box. The song has more than 65,000 hits on Last.fm.[2] It was written in the key of G Major.[3] Reportedly, Roger Taylor was not fond of the song and agreed to let it be included in the album only at Mercury's insistence.
