Delduar (Bengali: দেলদুয়ার) is an Upazila of Tangail District in the Division of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Geography
Delduar is located at 24°08′30″N 89°58′00″E / 24.1417°N 89.9667°E . It has 32696 units of house hold and total area 184.54 km². Delduar is a nice upazila. In this upazila delduar there are 8 unions. They are 1. Sadar union 2. Lauhati Union 3. Dubail Union 4. Pathrail Union 5. Atia Union 6. Elashin Union 7. Fazilhati Union 8. Dewly union
Demographics
As of the 1991 Bangladesh census, Delduar has a population of 175684. Males constitute 50.46% of the population, and females 49.54%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 91765. Delduar has an average literacy rate of 34% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate.[1]
