Deirdre Bolton (born September 21, 1971) is an American television anchor and host of Risk & Reward on Fox Business Network [1]

Early life

Deirdre Bolton graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in English and French literature and holds a master’s degree from New York University.

Career

Bolton formerly anchored Bloomberg Television’s "Money Moves", a show about alternative investments sourced from experts in hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, angel investing and real estate. On January 31, 2014 she left Bloomberg for Fox Business News to host a new business show "Risk & Reward".[2]

When Bolton joined Bloomberg in 1999, she reported from the New York Stock Exchange, the NASDAQ, and was recognized for outstanding field work and anchored a variety of programs.[3] Bolton was also the face of Bloomberg News for affiliate reporting in cities such as New York, Chicago, St. Louis, Pittsburgh, Raleigh, San Antonio and Salt Lake.

During the 2007/08 credit crisis, Bolton appeared on a regular basis as a contributor for CBS’ “The Early Show”. She can still be seen often on the Saturday program and appears regularly on ABC’s “News Now” channel.

Bolton has interviewed Wall Street players, government official, key decision makers and sports personalities such as PIMCO strategic adviser Richard Clarida, Carlyle Group Co-Founder David Rubenstein, Sam Zell, Roger Altman, Wilbur Ross, Nokia CFO Rick Simonson, President Barack Obama’s chief economist Christina Romer, Congressman Elijah Cummings, Martina Navratilova, Billie Jean King and Terrell Owens.
