Dehkanabad District is a district of Qashqadaryo Province in Uzbekistan. The capital lies at Karashina.


Dekhkanabad, (Dehqonobod, Деҳқонобод) is a district in Qashqadaryo Province, in south part of Uzbekistan. Dekhjanabad was founded September 29, 1926. In 1962, Dekhkanabad was united Guzar district, another district in Qashqadaryo, and in 1971 separated from Guzar. Dekhknabad is located south-east of Qashqadaryo Province. Dekhkanabad is bordered with Guzar from north-west, Kamashi from north-east, Surkhandaryo Province from south-east, Turkmenistan from west side. Area 4.0 thousand kilometer square, population 110, thousand. There is one city, Dekhanabad, and 14 village councils (Beshqoton, Bibiqorasach, Bozortepa, Boshchorboq, Duob, Karashina, Obiravon, Oqirtma, Oqravot, Oqtosh, Oqqishloq, Qizilcha, Qirqquloch, Qurgontosh). Capital city is Karashina. Time zone UTC+5 [1]
