The Deacon John Symmes House is a historic house at 212 Main Street in Winchester, Massachusetts. The two story wood frame house was built c. 1807 by Deacon John Symmes, a blacksmith, and is the oldest surviving house of the Symmes family, who first settled the area around 1650. It is a fairly conventional Federal style house, with a hip roof and a pair of rear wall chimneys. The front facade has five bays, with a center door that was enclosed by a later porch.[2]
The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.[1]
