DeVon Franklin (born April 13, 1978) is an American author, film producer,[1] preacher and motivational speaker. He is also the Senior Vice President of Production at Columbia Pictures.[2] He was formerly a studio executive at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.

His first start in the entertainment industry at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer as a studio executive. He worked as an intern for Will Smith and James Lassiter.

Currently, DeVon Franklin is the President/CEO, Franklin Entertainment & Author of the bestselling book, PRODUCED BY FAITH . He is also a film producer and has worked on projects like The Karate Kid, Not Easily Broken, Hancock and Heaven Is for Real.

DeVon has written a book entitled Produced by Faith. It was published in 2011 and is available from retailers.[3]
Personal life
Franklin is a Seventh-day Adventist. He graduated from University of Southern California with a major in Business Administration and a minor in Cinema-Television.[2] He currently lives in Los Angeles with wife, Meagan Good, whom he married in June 2012.[4]
