Daybreak is the seventh full-length studio album by the American indie rock band Saves the Day. It is also the band's first album since Can't Slow Down without long-time guitarist David Soloway, and their first with guitarist Arun Bali and bass guitarist Rodrigo Palma. The album also features Spencer Peterson on drums for the first time, before leaving the band prior to the album's release. On September 17, 2009, the band announced on Twitter that the album was almost finished[3] and on September 25 announced the track listing.[4] The album is the third in a trilogy that began with Sound the Alarm in 2006 and continued with Under the Boards in 2007.

After several delays in 2009 and 2010, the album was released by Razor & Tie in 2011.

On June 1, 2011, the band released the first single from the album "Living Without Love". It was available for free download after signing up for the band's mailing list.[5]

Pre-orders became available on June 2, 2011, and allowed customers to immediately download the songs "Living Without Love" and "Undress Me".[6]

The first showing of the music video for "Deranged & Desperate" was on September 8.
