Dawid Jackiewicz (born March 18, 1973 in Wrocław) is a Polish politician.
In 1998, he graduated with a degree in Political Science from the University of Wrocław.
He was elected to the Sejm, the Polish legislature, on September 25, 2005, receiving 12,362 votes in 3 Wrocław district, running from the Law and Justice party list.
Prior to his election, he was a police investigator. His seven-year-old son and wife were attacked by a man while travelling by bus. When Jackiewicz arrived at the scene, the attacker rushed to his son again. Jackiewicz pushed him off, and the assailant fell and hit his head on the sidewalk; he died a few days later in hospital. Police found out later that the attacker was under the influence of alcohol at the time. The nature of this self-defense case was controversial in Polish media coverage. The investigation was closed.
In 2007, Jackiewicz held office as the Secretary of State in the Ministry of the Treasury.
Dawid and Anna Jackiewicz have two sons.
