Davispur (Urdu: ڈیوس پور), also known as Tibiwala (Urdu: ٹبی والا), is a small village in the Sargodha district of Punjab, Pakistan. It is located approximately 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from Bhera. Miani and Phularwan are also nearby.
Mazar of Saen Abdul Majeed
Davispur is noted for the shrine of Hazrat Saen Abdul Majeed, a local wali known throughout Pakistan. His devotees and Mureeds gather here on 13-14 Moharam to celebrate his urs.[1]
History
Davispur has been home to a mixed population including Hindus and Sikhs since before partition in 1947. Some old buildings still remain.
