David Yeung is the CEO and co-founder of Green Monday,[1][2][3] a social enterprise group that promotes and enables green, healthy and sustainable living through vegetarian promotion and food rescue initiatives, and one of China's Top 50 Most Innovative Companies according to FAST COMPANY magazine. He is also a Board Member of the Hong Kong AIDS Foundation[4] and Hong Kong Buddhist Association.[5]

Yeung was selected by The Purpose Economy as “Asia's 100 Pioneers,”[6] and received multiple awards from Hong Kong media for his promotion of green living. He is also the author of a number of best-selling books on applied Buddhism and Zen philosophy,[7][8][9] Hong Kong's first dine-out guide for vegetarians ("Go Green 88 Restaurant Guide"),[3] and a regular columnist on major Hong Kong journals including East Week and U Magazine (under Hong Kong Economic Times).
