David Roockley is a professional rugby league footballer of the 1980s, playing at representative level for Yorkshire, and at club level for Castleford, as a Fullback, i.e. number 1.[1][2]

Playing career

County honours

David Roockley won a cap playing Fullback for Yorkshire while at Castleford in the 24-14 victory over Lancashire at Leeds' stadium on 21 September 1988.[3]

Challenge Cup final appearances

David Roockley was a Interchange/Substitute in Castleford's 15-14 victory over Hull Kingston Rovers in the 1986 Challenge Cup final during the 1985–86 season at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 3 May 1986.[4]
