Club career

Born in Reus, Tarragona, Catalonia, Querol graduated from local CF Reus Deportiu's youth system, and made his senior debuts in the 2008–09 campaign, in Tercera División. In 2010–11, he scored a career-best 13 goals, helping his side return to Segunda División B.

On 27 April 2011 Querol agreed a two-year contract with Real Betis, with the deal being effective in June.[1] He was assigned to the reserves in the third level, but missed his debut season due to injury.

On 7 July 2013 Querol joined fellow league team Gimnàstic de Tarragona.[2] He featured regularly for Nàstic, appearing in 40 matches and scoring six goals as the club narrowly missed out promotion.

On 14 July 2014, Querol signed a two-year deal with UE Llagostera, freshly promoted to Segunda División.[3] He made his debut as a professional on 23 August, aged 25, starting in a 0–2 away loss against UD Las Palmas.[4]

On 18 January 2015 Querol scored his first professional goal, netting the last in a 2–0 home win against Real Valladolid.[5]
