David Monteith
The Very Revd David Robert Malvern Monteith (b 5 June 1968)[1] has been Dean of Leicester since 2013.[2]
Born in Enniskillen he was educated at Portora Royal School in the town and Durham University; and ordained in 1994.[3] After a curacy at All Saints’, Kings Heath he joined the staff of St Martin-in-the-Fields in 1997. He was Priest in charge of Holy Trinity, Wimbledon from 2002 to 2009 and Canon Chancellor of Leicester Cathedral from 2009 until his appointment as Dean.
