David Levi Strauss

David Levi Strauss is an American professor. In 2014 he is the Chair of the graduate program in Art Criticism & Writing at the New York School of Visual Arts. Levi Strauss is also an art critic[1] and a writer on the subject of photography theory,[2][3][4] including filmography.[5][6]

Strauss' critiques and theories about the role and influence of art and photography on society are frequently cited in the works of other contemporary writers and critics.[7][8]
