David King (born 24 August 1981 in Melbourne, Australia)[1] is a former American football and Australian rules football player. He was signed by the New England Patriots of the National Football League as a punter on 14 April, 2010, but was waived by the team on 11 June 2010. He began to learn American football in October 2008 and was taught by coach Gary Zauner in April 2009.[2] He previously played semi-professional Australian rules football for Bundoora Football Club (Diamond Valley Football League; 2001–2002), Euroa Football Club (Goulburn Valley Football League; 2003–2007), and Norwood Football Club (Eastern Football League; 2008).[3]
