David Harris is an Australian actor and singer. He is best known for his musical theatre performance as Chris in the Australian production of Miss Saigon and Fiyero in the Australian production of Wicked, which toured Asia (Singapore and Seoul). In March 2012, it was announced that he would play Emmett in the Australian production of Legally Blonde (The Musical) alongside Lucy Durack as Elle Woods and Rob Mills as Warner.[1] Legally Blonde closed after a successful Australian tour in July 2013. Harris is currently appearing as the Baker in a sold-out Victorian Opera Production of Into the Woods and then will be performing in cabaret in Melbourne, Brisbane and Newcastle after a sold-out[2] Sydney season at the Hayes Theatre.

Film and television

Harris appears as Dreamy Solo in the 2001 made for television movie of South Pacific starring Glenn Close and Harry Connick Jr.[17]

Harris's other television credits include Rescue Special Ops, Blue Heelers, Neighbours.

In Dec 2012, Harris joined his Legally Blonde co-stars to perform at Carols In the Domain.
