David Elsner (born 22 March 1992) is a German ice hockey forward. He is currently playing with the Thomas Sabo Ice Tigers of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). Elsner played with ERC Ingolstadt of the DEL during the 2010-11 season, before playing major junior hockey with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds of the Ontario Hockey League.[1] Elsner was selected by the Nashville Predators in the 7th round (194th overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
