Datnioides microlepis (common names: Indonesian tiger datnoid, Indo datmoid, Indonesian tigerfish, or finescale tigerfish) is a species of freshwater fish endemic to the Chao Phraya River basin in Thailand, the Mekong River basin, the Kapuas River basin in Borneo, and the Musi River basin in Sumatra.[1] This fish is commonly seen in the aquarium trade, and often is seen when juvenile (3-4 in). This fish grows up to 18 inches in the wild, but does not attain this size in aquaria (12 in).
