The Dassault Falcon 8X is a large-cabin, long range trijet business jet manufactured by Dassault Aviation. It is derived from the Dassault Falcon 7X, with longer range afforded by engine tweaks, aerodynamic refinements and an increase in fuel capacity.[2]

Design and development

The 8X's cabin size is approximately 3.2 ft. longer than its 7X predecessor.[3] It has also received an engine upgrade which altogether allows for take offs on shorter runways and improved fuel efficiency by 35% versus its competitors.[4]

The prototype, registered F-WWQA, first flew from Bordeaux Merignac Airport on 6 February 2015.[1]
