Darren Tighe

Darren Tighe is an English actor and comedian, known for his roles in BBC sitcoms Thieves Like Us, The Visit and Ideal.

Background

Tighe was born in Preston, Lancashire, England. He attended Broughton High School. His initial acting training was with Preston drama teacher Pete Hartley. He then studied at Preston College under Nigel Dottridge before progressing to Drama School. His early influences include The Monocled Mutineer.

Television

He was featured in and one episode of Gimme, Gimme, Gimme and in the BBC Drama The Invisibles, and has also appeared in Go Now, Jude, Coronation Street, Holby City, Hetty Wainthropp Investigates, High Heels and Low Lifes and 24 Hour Party People; and as Fenner in the Queen of Swords episode, "Take's a Thief" (2001).[1] appeared in cracker and an advert for the Automobile association
